So I was going through some of my stuff from high school and I found this assignment for my English class. The assignment was to write our own Declaration of Independence, and as predicted, I would choose sleep haha.

When in the course of human life, it becomes necessary for a multitude of people to rise to a stand and fight for what they believe in, and it becomes essential to attain that goal despite anything that stands in the way. The only way to do that is to constrain everyone to rebel and abolish the inclination to sleep. After undergoing everything that happened in these past couple of months, I'm so glad for it. Can hate and fear be classified as the same thing? I mean we can feel hate towards other individuals for evincing fear in us and we can also fear the people we hate...I don't even know if I'm making sense haha but they could just be two feelings that can tie close together.

Must we all be stubborn and learn the hard way? But it maybe it's not being stubborn all the time, sometimes and maybe even all the time we have to learn by falling and rising...I would say that it means we're not wise (wise men learn from other people's mistakes) but perhaps we all are, I mean you don't have to shoot up heroin to know it's bad, right? I guess it just depends on what you're applying it to...or maybe we're only half wise =O ...idk it's late.

Anger. We're only human and it is an emotion and one that gets the best of us sometimes and most definitely not a favorable one. However, it's something I'm learning to have more control and finding healthier ways to release.

So, I just finished watching The Secret Life of Bees, and I haven't cried this much in a while. Movies that evince some part of racism usually get me mad, which elicits rage in me, and I shed tears of anger. Seeing Lily hurt about killing her mother, watching her be abused and the way May is lost and broken after losing her twin made me feel full of sorrow, which evoked more tears. Lastly, the tears of joy, such as Rosaleen being able to vote and June finally agreeing to marry what's his face. Great movie, which I recommend to all women. Damn...I just realized I'm super PMSing ahaha. This calls to a trip to Barnes and Nobles!! :D

Philosophy intrigues me, yet it is so vexing and makes me feel like slamming my head against the table. It seems as this is a persistent theme in what I've read tonight; hence,

Is love really all that complicated, or do we tend to make it more convoluted than it has to be? I think trust is key; without trust you can't build a relationship of any sort. Is it okay to give up if you've tried repetitively and failed, and if so, is it still considered failing if you put all your effort into it?

She is amazing; simply amazing. She inspries me to be valiant and not let anything or give anyone the power to bring me down and to rise from every impediment that is thrown my way.

You have to trust yourself if you choose to influence the lives of others. How can you counsel someone if you have no faith in what you preach. Having the confidence in yourself is what helps others to strive to find the confidence in themselves.

To fall into the pressures of society, to conform yourself to the expectations of others, to relinquish your rights of freedom is to lose yourself.

Believe what you want to believe. No one can tell you what is right and what is wrong; write your own lyrics to the song of life.

My thoughts, my opinions, my actions are what make me, me. Who am I to assume this facade of the person you want me to be and dissipate the very essence that makes me unique.

The repetition of ignorance simply gets you nowhere.

I ask broad questions because it leads to a series of sub questions, and it causes you to use your brain. My questions, when I'm being serious, are part of a continuous cycle that forces the mind to think. My questions are like a fruit tree. A question is a seed and the roots are the answers to that question. The sub questions are the trunk of the tree. The branches are the answers and thoughts to those questions and the leaves are the opinions that couldn't be supported; hence, they fall as the season changes. (I had help with the leaves) And the fruit is the essentials of the question that form another broad question, which grows another tree. I ask broad questions to get your opinion and to expand my horizon. I ask broad questions to keep the cycle of thinking going.

So many people think once we die, we're gone. I think this picture resembles life after death, that once we perish we become a part of life and all it's surroundings, that we give back to everything that once gave to us, that we're still here even though we're gone.

Think about it. Love is great, love is pain, love is happiness, love is sorrow. Love is something that will never die and that will never grow old, for it’s something that everyone feels big or small, young or old, girl or boy. Love is something that is just renewed second after second, minute after minute, hour after hour, day after day. Love is something that if two people have it they overcome anything together and it’s something so pure so true that it has no restrictions.
